Massive congratulations to the Equality Forum and in particular Jo Fitzpatrick. Jo’s poem is being used in the report of the LGBTI Inclusive Education Working Group. The founders of the TIE Campaign, Jordan Daly and Liam Stevenson, thought it perfectly and powerfully encapsulated their campaign as well as the aims of the report. The report will be published around 15:15 today at on www.gov.scot/isbn/9781787812932 and Deputy First Minister will be making a statement to Parliament followed by questions from MSPs that you can watch at https://www.scottishparliament.tv/.
Please see the great new resource from the Police Scotland Youth Hub. It is for young people in the age groups of 5 – 19 years of age with additional links and resources for parents, carers and teachers.
A reminder that Rock Challenge performer rehearsals will continue in the PE department after school on Thursday. It’s important that all performers attend to enable us to move onto the next stage of the dance. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Reminder: the next expedition training session takes place this Thursday, 8th November, 6.30-8.30pm – please meet in English.
Wishing our pupil team all the best as they attend the Enterprising Maths final in Glasgow today. # Team Nairn
