Facebook Live-The Built Environment

Inverness College have organised another Facebook live chat for tonight for Civil Engineering queries on the Built Environment. Please see the Facebook link below. This might be a good opportunity for young people to ask questions if they are thinking of leaving school or looking at Inverness College UHI as an option for full time study.

CMS Law Bursary Scheme- for S5 pupils

On behalf of CMS, please see below for details of an exciting bursary opportunity for S5 pupils interesting in studying law.

Background to CMS

CMS is the 6th largest law firm in the world and has recently been named in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers 2017/2018. As well as supporting students in their university applications, the Bursary Scheme offers students a chance to develop a relationship with us and start their journey into the legal profession.  We hope the Bursary scheme is a great opportunity for a school pupil hoping to go on to study law.

Who can apply?

We are looking for a S5 state school pupil, hoping to go on to study law, to become our next CMS Bursary winner for Scotland.  The winner will receive £2,500 per year, for each year of their law degree, together with mentoring support and paid work experience with the firm.  This is now our fourth year of awarding the bursary in Scotland and previous winners have gone on to study law at Aberdeen, Glasgow and Strathclyde.

How do pupils apply?

To enter the competition, we ask for a short essay and application form, which is to submitted by Friday 29 June 2018.  You can find full details of the bursary scheme and how to apply on the CMS website.
