High Voltage – Young Volunteers in Libraries

High Life Highland are pleased to be able to offer young people the opportunity to volunteer at Nairn Library or in the school library as part of the High Voltage project. This is under the  wider Highland Leadership Academy umbrella and offers a non-sport route to gaining the coveted hoodies! All volunteer hours can also be counted towards Saltire, Duke of Edinburgh etc awards.

 Anyone interested in volunteering should speak to Mrs Murdoch or Mrs Fell in the school library or Louise in the public library.

Congratulations to Ross and Callum Kinnarid who did a fantastic job in the promotion video! The film and details of the project have been shared across Scotland as an example of good practice.

Music Technology

S2 pupils are currently composing soundtracks which will accompany Social Enterprise webinars during their Music Technology classes. Impact Hub Inverness has set the task of producing short soundtracks to add to their series of online webinars (Talking Hats) created to support Social Enterprise projects. The composers of the winning soundtrack will receive a prize for their work and will have their soundtrack added to future webinars produced by Impact Hub Inverness.
