Music

Welcome to Music!

Music is for all; it can be studied by anyone and everyone. Regardless of musical skill/level, Music is known to enhance our well-being and has a number of mental and psychological benefits to offer.  Many studies have shown that those who study music perform better in a variety of subjects, including Maths, Science, reading, and languages. Playing an instrument can also be a creative outlet for emotions, playing a role in relieving stress and anxiety.

The music courses available in Nairn Academy encourage pupils to develop and improve musical ability, take responsibility for learning and development, work collaboratively with others and build confidence. These skills are very useful in working life.
